Studio Visits: olive47

We brought you a preview of the Wider than a postcard group exhibition a couple of days back that AM's Sven Davis is curating at Breeze Block Gallery. Running alongside that will be a solo exhibition by olive47 entitled bonita bonita. The Atlanta-based street artist has painted and pasted her way around the world since 1995, and she aims to bring a visual Garden of Eden to her heavily installation-based exhibition opening on May 2^nd. olive47 uses a bold colour pallete alongside symbolism and spirituality to create her stylized aesthetic. The artist currently resides in Atlanta, GA where photographers Steve Pomberg, Jon Kownacki and Kyle Brooks caught her working on this new body of work in and around her studio.
