Basel Week Miami ’13: Art Basel First Look (Part I)

Today marked the official opening of the Art Basel main fair at the Miami Beach Convention Center, but yesterday was the exclusive First Choice & Vernissage where a majority of the high profile buying action took place. AM took its annual pilgrimage to Florida to catch the offical launch of Art Basel Week Miami as the flagship fair launched with a slew of household names such as Murakami (seen above), Miro, Koons, Emin, Longo, Calder, Tomaselli, Kusama, Sherman, Nara, Basquiat and many more were featured at one of the biggest art fairs in the world.
